We are looking for a nice conditioned modern full size snooker table
for a client in our area of Nottingham & Derby
as close to Nottingham and Derby if possible and a Ground floor located table is possible please
Cloth condition or nets and leathers not important , but good bounce , good slates and good woodwork is what my client is looking for , we can renew the cloth nets and leathers .,
Tables we are looking for are like these .
A Riley

A Karnehm and Hillman

even a Karnehm and Hillman square leg

A Titan

An Enbild again turned or square leg will be considered .

We have a client looking for a nice full size snooker table in oak
looking for one in the £500 price range so he can spend money on a re-cloth and pockets adjustment or re-rubber
table has to play like a modern table and not one that is hard to pot balls on or bounce out from middle pocket plates
A standard Riley aristocrat or Karnehm and hillman will suffice , POLISH must be in excellent order no rough tables .
not too fussed if squared or turned legs the tables playing experience is more important , of course build quality is a must have  and condition of wood work .
some thing like the following is what I am looking for , may consider a Mahogany table .

We have a client based in Cambourne Cornwall looking to buy a full size snooker table
because of the logistics of this , a low cost nice condition table is required .
it may be that you have moved into a new home and wish to make the snooker room into a room you can use .
or selling a  property and the new buyers of your house have made it a condition that the table is removed before they exchange contracts  .
Therefore price has to be very reasonable taking into condition that tables are hard to sell , and too many for sale from closed down clubs have saturated the market
it really is a buyers market .
hence why GCL billiards do not get involved with buying and selling tables . we prefer to just advertise private sales on our much visited for sale section and wanted  section ,
I could fill a warehouse with free to collect or low price tables and only sell one or two a year .

We are looking for something like this Karnehm and Hillamn , as long as rubber has good bounce the cloth condition is not going to be an issue but woodwork has to be good .


even a  square leg version of a Karnehm and Hillman will do .

Or basic Riley Arsitocrat with standard cushions

Of course we will also take into consideration any make of table , but build quality and condition is going to be the decisive factor when we select one for this client
it is a long way to go to fit a table from Nottingham and we do not wish to disappoint the client by fitting an inferior table and I am afraid a lot of inferior tables where manufactured in the 1980’s
.
I will not say what a previous client paid for this table , but it was not a lot of money
and it was sold for that because very little interest in people wishing to buy and pay to have it dismantled and transported and set back up .

We advertise many second hand snooker tables on our site
these are Private sales and I have the sellers contact details
these sales are direct sales from the private sale and not from GCL billiards
a lot of people phone up and ask about a table they think is in stock , this is not the case
we do not buy tables to sell we are a maintenance company and we also do logistical work relocating tables .

PLEASE NOTE it is FREE to list a  table on our site , we only take a  10% commission if we find a buyer for you .
The buyer is free to choose which ever billiard firm he would like to employ to take the table away .
they do not have to use GCL billiards but we wll offer a price for him to carry out that work , providing it is on the gorund floor dismantle and install , we do not do stairs anymore .
We can get around one or two steps up or down that is all .

Also please note any BUYERS , the cost of relocation is not included in the private sale price of the table from the seling owner ,
once bought you can then ask GCL billiards for a quote for any upgrade of cloth nets leathers , Rubbers , and the cost of dismantle load and unload and erect on site .

We always take care loading and unloading , but please inform if any stairs are involved as we have stopped doing the stairs work now we are in our later years of fitting .
we just do Ground floor to Ground floor delivery of table work .
this is due to over 40 years of lifting and back and joint trouble , if we carried on lifting slates up and down stairs we would not last much longer in the fitting of tables .
Because of miles to relocate , we will quote once we have both post codes , and email confirmation of no stairs involved .

I have a client based near Lincoln , who at the moment has a Burroughs and watts full size snooker table with steel cushions .
he used to have a BCE westbury and would like to go back to a more modern BCE table as he prefers the modern pocket plates and pocket openings  .
therefore he wishes to sell or PX his older B&Watts table or buy outright a nice condition BCE Westbury with steel block cushions .
Price will be determined on condition of table , the more to perfect the higher the price will be paid .
no bad slates or rough tables please .

We have a local client here in Sandiacre Nottingham / Derby border looking to purchase a 9ft Snooker Table .
Riley / Karnehm and Hillman are just two that would suit him , but we are open to suggestions , woodwork must be in good order .
must be 3 to 5 section slate bed and 6 legs bolted cushions into slate , no low cost wood screwed cushions .
We will be ready to collect this table anytime in the next 6 weeks , so please get in touch if you have a 9ft table .
please measure slate bed length as people do get mixed up with 8fts and 9ft size when they sell them .
measure between nose of cushions it should measure 8ft 8 inch approx from end to end between nose of cushions ,
plus the overhang of cushion at each end being 2 inch each extra  4 inch of slate   = 9ft

I have a client who is looking for around 4 to 5 Sam K steel 9ft american pool tables .
must be competitively priced as it costs a fair bit to dismantle and deliver and set up plus re-rubber and re-cloth.
I am not too fussed if we are offered ones and twos , it does not matter if you have only one or all 5 tables .
My client is willing to have them in dribs and drabs .
Cloth and rubber condition is not an issue as long as they are presentable cabinet wise and have no damage .


They are called K steel because of this steel sub frame , not an easy table to move as there are Hundreds of bolts and screws .
and a three section slate bed

this is very common in Sam K steel tables , old cracking rubber which cannot be seen through the cloth , our client will require all tables to be fully renovated with new rubber and new cloth , that is why we are asking for reasonably priced tables .
if you have one or a few of these tables for disposal and are all complete with no parts missing or major cabinet or frame and slate damage , then we are interested in them for our client .
Ideally we would like them before end of September 2019

We have a client who is converting a room for a full size snooker table
this room will be ready for a table around February 2019
below we have two Aristocrat  tables that have been advertised and sold on GCL Billiards web site by private sellers .
Our client would like one in  pristine wood work condition , rubber cloth and nets and leathers are not too important
but we are looking for the best available out there that is being privately sold and in home use only .

this one was sold and installed in France last year .

this one was sold and installed in Lougborough two years ago .
both in very good order woodwork wise and only had private use .
ideally we are looking for a Made in UK model .
slates have to be in good order too and level and not dished .
