We have a client ( Dan ) who wishes to sell his very well cared for 7×4 traditional style pool table with turned legs finished in mahogany style cabinet
I actually re-covered this table a short time ago and because the seller has other interests the table has not been used much , so the cloth is still in good order.
The reason for sale is he is buying a brand new top of the range version model as used in County pro use .

He would like £350 for this table , and if local he may deliver it ? as he does have a large van for his other Hobby and work. but you will have to sort this out with the seller.
The table will come with balls and triangle .

This table has been well looked after in an heated Log Cabin , the seller plays pool in the local league and would not buy a rubbish table therefore you can be sure you will have a good product even if it is second hand .
these type of tables new are around £1000 new , so at a third of the price of new , you will be getting good value for money .

Private sale of this 7×4 Supreme winner pool table now also listed on EBay .
We have a Bargain basement sale of an Excellent pool table as used by international and county teams .
this sale is pick up only , although we could at a price deliver it .

slight peeling of upper cushion surround on one end and part of alloy window trim missing .
The table has a free play coin mech fitted.
the table has had around 6 months of use since it’s last re-cover , it also had a new set of internal ball rails which are the latest none bounce back type .
Table has a slate bed and is the same model as used by Professional tournaments . just £295 . SOLD to dealer in skegness for £230.

Table is as it came in from site and will require a little cleaning of inside and a polish up of cabinet outside , the table does not belong to GCL billiards we are just listing it as a favor as they bought a new one from us.

We have a client ( Ann)  based in post code area CH47 who wishes to sell their snooker Dining table .
I do not know too much about the table , only that it was bought from Titan and the owner states it cost new £1800 , they require £800 for this nice polished table.
Room size we recommend 5ft all the way around so 17ft by 13ft 6 inch for full size cue use.
a smaller room you will have too use smaller cue’s.

the table has two piece section top , I do not know if it is dual height , but I would think it was , this is something you need to ask the owner when I put you in touch with them.
The table is situated in the CH47 post code area which is in Merseyside , dual height tables rise for playing snooker and when you wish to use as a diner you lower the table top down and then put the two section table top on.
I cannot see the dual height system from the photo’s supplied so it is something you need to ask on inquiry .

this 7ft table comes with balls triangle scoreboard cues and rest

the tops put onto the table and it is now ready for dining off , polish wise it looks in good condition .
buyer to arrange collection , the chairs are not included in the sale .
the table slate bed  top comes off the frame and the frame dismantles , I recommend a small transit or vivaro type van with at least 8ft x 4ft floor clearance , you may need to take two cushions off to fit between the wheel arch .
you will require plenty of bubble wrap or blankets to keep polish in good condition .

We have a client who lives in Poole , in the county of Dorset .

And the table is up for sale at just £350 for a quick sale , try finding another OAK table of this time period at such a Bargain Price !

Photo’s below of  their really nice aged faded oak table which had a renovation a few years ago by Riley who refurbished the cushion rubber .

The cloth and rubber condition has been described as good , but what is good for one person may not be for another so please be aware you may require a re-cover and a re-rubber , but from the look of the table it looks OK as it is  , so a viewing may be required to try it out before you purchase .
GCL billiards have not inspected the table , this is a Private sale and is sold direct from the owner to the buyer using only GCL billiards web site to offer it for sale in this FOR SALE section for private adverts .
the benefits of buying direct is that you do not pay Middle Man fees or profit . What do GCL billiards get out of the Deal ?

The Ivory badge with reference to George V which dates the table manufacture date somewhere between 1910 to 1936
you may also note it has the chalk cups just underneath the cushion which holds the cue chalk and neatly folds away under the cushion during play

A nice shape to the turned leg all in solid light oak , this table will blend into most modern decors which have a light oak theme to the room.
the quality of the slate will be Welsh and around 1.5 to 2 inch thick

the table has only a modern scoreboard to complete the sale , but I am sure an old oak scoreboard could be found either on eBay or GCL billiards have an old period  Riley one to sell to complete the originality of the tbale .

the Table is a Riley turned leg , circa around 1930/50 they made these design of  tables for a long time period right up to the 1960s

as you can see the table comes with a full set of rests balls and cover , plus a Brush and metal lighting shade

This leg design was very popular for E.J riley the Manufacturer and was produced from 1910 to 1960’s
The table will have a 5 section 2 inch thick WELSH slate bed which is far superior slate than most modern tables made from Italian / Brazilian or Chinese slate  , Welsh slate is the best in the world .
You would be buying a quality slate bed table which is far more better to play snooker on than  a more modern table with soft slate , welsh slate is more denser and slightly more heavier than Italian slate  .
as for Chinese slate this is even more softer , it is well known that the slate quarries in ~Wales and Ireland  have the best slate for Billiard tables in the world .
for comparison you can say the same for curling stones , the best are made from Ailsa Craig green Granite , a product of Scotland , so Welsh slate is best for Billiard tables .

Our client is looking to have the table sold within the next 4 weeks if possible , being located in a garage makes for a easy dismantle and load to take away so it may be possible for someone who knows how to take one apart to do this part of the job as a DIY task
But please be aware those slates weigh 1/5th of a ton each , and the van used to take away should have a payload weight of at least 1600 kg .

As you can see GCL billiards do have the man power and the tools to take a table apart and load it safely , our van also carries the table and all tools with up to three men all within the legal weight limits .
